2019/20 Championship Fixtures Released

Leicester City Women’s fixtures for the 2019/20 FA Women’s Championship have today been released with the Foxes facing Durham in the opening match before an away trip to Sheffield United.

  • The Foxes will face newly promoted Coventry United at Farley Way Stadium on November 24
  • City’s final Championship game will be away to London Bees on 26 April
  • Leicester City Women start the season at Farley Way Stadium against Durham

The Foxes kick off the 2019/20 FA Women’s Championship season at home against Durham before an away trip to face Sheffield United on August 25.

Following an away match against renamed London City Lionesses, Jonathan Morgan’s side face back-to-back home matches against London Bees and Crystal Palace to complete their opening five matches.

The last match of 2019 sees them host Sheffield United at Farley Way Stadium on 15 December, before an away trip to Durham kicks off 2020 on Sunday 12 January.

Newly promoted Coventry United and Blackburn Rovers visit Quorn on November 24 and December 1 respectively, before away trips to both come in March.

The final match of the 2019/20 season sees Leicester City Women travel to London Bees on Sunday 26 April.

The draw for the Continental Cup Group Stages will be made at the annual AGM at the end of this month with group stage fixtures to be announced shortly after.
