Two Leicester City players selected in English Colleges FA squad for upcoming tournament.

– City goalkeeper Charlotte Clarke has been selected in the 20-player squad for the trip to Rome
– Foxes defender Sarah Jackson will be among the coaching staff as a Performance Analyst
– The English Colleges FA side are already in Rome ahead of their first match in the Roma Caput Mundi tournament today

Leicester City Women goalkeeper Charlotte Clarke and defender Sarah Jackson have both joined up with the English Colleges FA squad having been selected for the Roma Caput Mundi tournament in Rome.

The ECFA side will face three teams over the next week before a potential final match on Friday 22 February.

Speaking to LCWFC TV, goalkeeper Charlotte Clarke said: “I’m absolutely thrilled and delighted to have been picked for the squad. It should be a great experience and will help me as a player.”

Defender Sarah Jackson who joined the Foxes in the summer has also flown out to Rome where she will join the coaching staff as a performance analyst for the five-day international tournament.  

Leicester City Women defender Sarah Jackson said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for me and I’m excited at the chance to work with some experienced staff.”
