Media Team (voluntary)

Leicester City Women Football Club are currently looking to expand in a number of different areas.

The Football Club is currently the highest tiered Women’s Football Club within the East Midlands, providing an excellent Player Pathway for Under 9s right through to our First Team.

We are looking to recruit in the below area:
Photographers (Senior and Junior level)
Videographers
Match Reporters

Purpose:

  • Assisting in the provision of content for social media and website use to cover all aspects of Leicester City Women Football Club from Under 9s right through to our First Team.

Key Accountabilities:

    null
  • Assist in the filming of training and matches.
  • Photography at Club events including matches, training and other events held by or attended by the Club.
  • Attending matches (for the team assigned to) and writing web content in the house style
  • Work and liaise effectively with all departments of the Club.
  • Adhering to The FA standards for the Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults.
  • Ensure all Club polices, Codes of Conduct, FA Respect guidelines are adhered to.
  • Knowledgeable of Women’s football.
  • Willingness to continue in their professional development.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and independent travel.

Person Specification (Key Skills, Experience, Qualifications Required):

Essential

  • Degree level (or equivalent) in Media, Journalism, Film & Photography or other related area, or currently working towards completion.
  • Experience in using Digital Cameras for team sports.
  • Examples of written work following house styles (ideally match reports).
  • Prior analysis experience within a team environment
  • Driving Licence

Desirable

    null
  • Ability to provide own equipment for use
  • In date FA Enhanced CRC Check
  • In date FA Safeguarding Children Workshop

Other

    null
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Aware of diversity and equality challenges in football.
  • Passion to develop the Women’s game. With a long-term focus in aiding in its development.
